For the past five years, my summers have been structured in part by teaching on Saturday mornings. But this year I've been asked to teach my class in the fall. Apparently, there were a number of students who were away for the summer and so never got to take my class, so offering it during the school year makes it more accessible. I'm all for that, and I certainly enjoyed having my summer Saturdays back.
But cramming teaching into the busy fall months will pose its own challenges. The most important thing is I love teaching, so while the logistics of fitting the class in will be challenging, I very much look forward to meeting a new wave of students and learning much from them. Here we go!
