For the last several months, I had the pleasure of working under the Philadelphia Jobs Commission, which was tasked by City Council to look at what the City can do to create and retain private sector jobs for Philadelphians. Earlier this year, the Commission finalized its report of findings and recommendations. Yesterday, it briefed the Mayor and City Council and then there was a press conference to officially release the report to the public. You can link to this report by going here.
