Not sure why I didn't think of this earlier, but I'm going to try to include more pictures with my posts. They liven things up visually, and give me another outlet for making my point. Thank goodness for Google Images and Flickr!
Speaking of which, here's an image I found when I entered "45th and Locust," the closest intersection to my house. In fact, I could've seen this image from my front porch (although it wouldn't be the same today, since besides taking down the sign, the beauty salon has moved out and a cafe has moved in).
