In a delicious irony, the world's greenest city may be located in the cradle of oil production: "WWF, Abu Dhabi unveil plans for sustainable city." Urban Land Institute is even hosting a sustainability conference there: "Building a Sustainable Future: Trends, Opportunities, and Challenges."
