Driving While Running

Amy and I both did some road running while we were in California earlier this month.  Because there are so many great parks and trails within a short drive, and because the area is so carcentric, both of us got funny looks from motorists as we puttered along the side of the road.  People just don't run on city sidewalks and streets around here.  Amy and I both find it funny to drive somewhere to run, and Philadelphia is a great city to run in, so we're just so used to stepping out the door and getting started.  So this facet of suburban living took awhile for these two urbanites to get our heads around.
