For some reason, before I read this, it never occurred to me to consider whether Abby is a "city kid" or "child of the suburbs"; I guess I subconsciously have thought of her as I now think of myself, ie a "child of the Delaware Valley". That said-- she does not see center city, ever. Her "city life" is limited to: Please Touch Museum, the Zoo, my parents' house (Olney), and the houses of my two siblings in University City ("non-catchment" U.C., mind you :-)).<br /><br />A trip to Reading Terminal, public transit from door to door, is now definitely on my to-do list for me and Abby (and who knows?
